Powerpanel Flex solar modules - 80 to 160 watts -

The flexible Carbest solar modules deliver more power than conventional PV modules of the same size. Thanks to the high-quality ETFE surface with honeycomb structure, there is a significant increase in performance in twilight and cloudy conditions. The special back-contact technology of the solar cells enables bending radii of up to 20°.

Performance is significantly higher than comparable modules, especially at high temperatures. This means maximum efficiency without a drop in performance. The pre-assembled solar cable shortens the installation time and, at 6/8 m long, is also sufficient for large vehicles. The above-average bendability also makes the Carbest modules ideal for maritime applications. We recommend an MPPT charge controller (e.g. 851005 or 851006)

cover layer material:

• ETFE: Very hard and thin (approx. 0.025 mm) material with high light transmission of approx. 95%. Heat resistant up to approx. 150°C. Very high weather resistance, also suitable for salt water.

Backing sheet material:

• TPT: Material with high flexural strength. More flexible than fiberglass.
• Fiberglass: Very strong, hard material for the best possible protection of the solar cells.

Installation instructions:

All Flex modules must be fully bonded (without air pockets). All module edges must then be completely sealed up to the top cover layer.
